Arizona Grassroots Basketball (AGB) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to developing student‑athletes and at‑risk youth through a holistic blend of academic support, life‑skills training, and athletic development. As an officially recognized JR3SSB, Adidas Gold, and Adidas Earn Your Stripes circuit program for both boys and girls, AGB provides high‑level competitive opportunities that align with our mission to prepare youth for college and beyond.
Our programs are led by qualified educators, mentors, and sports professionals who create an environment where young people can grow intellectually, physically, and emotionally. Each participant completes a personal intake interview with their family to assess academic needs, athletic goals, and long‑term aspirations. This allows us to design individualized development plans that support both classroom success and athletic progression.
AGB welcomes all athletes through membership enrollment. Because we operate with limited nonprofit funding, a select number of participants may receive sponsorships or financial assistance each year. Sponsored athletes engage in a comprehensive curriculum focused on academic readiness, character development, and college preparation—equipping them with the tools to pursue higher education and continue their basketball careers.
As a multi‑circuit Adidas program, AGB offers student‑athletes exposure to elite competition, national scouting environments, and structured development pathways that elevate both athletic and academic potential. These experiences reinforce our core belief that sports can transform lives.

Arizona Grassroots was established to prepare athletes academically, physically, and most importantly mentally. One of the most important things to remember is that Arizona Grassroots athletes are a selected few. Each athlete must maintain a certain GPA to remain in the program. The overall goal of the Arizona Grassroots program is to create COMPLETE student-athletes, by developing successful habits on and off the court.
